WWE To Possibly Make Changes To SummerSlam Card

WWE potentially changing their SummerSlam 2024 plans

WWE could be set to make changes to their SummerSlam 2024 plans.

Fightful Select has reported that one WWE source told them not to be surprised if additions or alterations are made to the SummerSlam card. This is due to there currently being seven singles matches scheduled for SummerSlam with only one match having a stipulation in Seth Rollins as the special guest referee for CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre.

What changes WWE could make to SummerSlam is unknown. The company did make an alteration earlier this week, extending the SummerSlam pre-show to three hours. WWE may have done so to get the one-hour jump on Collision, which will begin at 5 pm ET.

SummerSlam 2024 will get underway at 8 pm ET/12 am BST on Saturday, August 3. The card is as follows:

  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa - Undisputed WWE Championship
  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther - World Heavyweight Championship
  • CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre - Seth Rollins is the special guest referee
  • Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax - WWE Women's Championship
  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley - Women's World Championship
  • Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker - Intercontinental Championship
  • Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight - United States Championship
  • Jelly Roll to perform
