WWE Trying To Bring In Cristiano Ronaldo For Crown Jewel

Could Cristiano Ronaldo appear at WWE Crown Jewel?

WWE are gearing up for a return to Saudi Arabia for the upcoming Crown Jewel event on November 4, and rumours suggest they’re trying to bring in football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo for the event.

Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, with the former Real Madrid talisman having been the first high-profile name to switch to the Saudi league in January 2023 ahead of the aggressive expansion by the league.

As part of his rumoured €200 million a year salary in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo serves as an ambassador for the country, and an appearance for WWE would satisfy all parties, likely at a financial cost to WWE.

The report comes via Spanish sports website AS, and if a deal comes to fruition then Ronaldo wouldn’t be the first footballer involved with WWE. Former Wimbledon defensive midfielder Vinnie Jones appeared at the UK only pay-per-view Capital Carnage in 1998 to assist Steve Austin, whilst former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho appeared in the crowd during a 2007 edition of Raw in London, where Shane McMahon roasted ‘the Special One’ on the mic.
