WWE Will Hold Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal On March 31 SmackDown

WWE Announced That The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Will Take Place On Next Week's SmackDown

The annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal match has been held on the WrestleMania go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown for the last two years, and that trend is set to continue as it was announced that the match would take place on the March 31 edition of SmackDown this year.

What was a WrestleMania staple between the years of 2014 and 2019 seems to now be a regular part of SmackDown based on this. The lineup for this match has been confirmed too, with the participants as follows;

Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Tori, Mace, Mansoor, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Angel, Humberto, Ashante Adonis, Top Dolla, Santos Escobar, Dexter Lumis, Butch, Ridge Holland, Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Rick Boogs, Elias, Johnny Gargano, Xavier Woods, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed, and Madcap Moss.

What this means for the expected Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley match at WrestleMania 39 is unclear, without any form of official announcement. The previous winners of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal have included Cesaro, Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman, Jey Uso, and Madcap Moss.
