Report: Backstage News On Conversation Between CM Punk & Kenny Omega After Brawl Out

CM Punk has been the topic of conversation in the professional wrestling world over the last couple days, and news continues to emerge in relation to him, and particularly with his status in AEW.

A report from Fightful Select revealed quite a lot about the backstage goings on between CM Punk and others in AEW, and the report made note of the reaction from both Punk and Kenny Omega in the aftermath of the infamous “Brawl Out” incident, following the All Out 2022 press conference. 

It is stated in the report that previous rumours of Punk and Omega talking a few days after the event were untrue, but they did in fact speak in the direct fallout; 

“Punk and Kenny Omega did have a brief conversation after the Brawl Out fight, in the immediate moments following. Punk was said to have told Omega that the issue wasn't with him. Those that were nearby said the two were going to continue talking, but Ace Steel was still being dealt with at that point.”

Anything further on the relationship between Omega and Punk is currently uncertain. Punk hasn’t been seen in AEW since the All Out 2022 event, but recently took to Instagram to respond to comments made by Dave Meltzer, which spurned up a lot of headlines.
