WWE Women's Tag Team Titles Vacated, New Champions To Be Decided

New Women's Tag Champions will be decided in two weeks following title vacation

The bad luck for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles has continued, with the team of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez having to vacate the gold last night. Morgan picked up an injury which has ruled her out of action for the foreseeable future, meaning that the pair cannot defend the belts going forwards.

WWE announced that new Women’s Tag Team Champions would be decided in two weeks time on Monday Night Raw in a fatal four way match. The teams vying for the gold are the returning pair of Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Damage CTRL (Bayley & IYO SKY), Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville and Raquel Rodriguez & a mystery partner.

Morgan and Rodriguez won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on the April 10 edition of Monday Night Raw, beating the makeshift duo of Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, following a backstage attack on Lita. They went on a reign that would last for 39 days, defending the titles against Damage CTRL (Bayley & Dakota Kai) and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville in that time.
