WWE WrestleMania 36 Reportedly Heading For Tampa, Florida

Potentially the fourth 'Mania to take place in the state...

We're just less than six weeks away from WWE WrestleMania 35, but it already appears the location of next year's Grandaddy Of Them All has already been revealed.

Collin Sherwin of 813area.com confirmed a report initially released by PWInsider - Tampa, Florida will be the host city for WrestleMania 36 with the event slated to take place at the Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, 2020.

A press conference to announce the show is said to be scheduled for Thursday, March 7.

The Tampa Bay Sports Commission are said to have declined comment on the matter, and have directed all inquiries to WWE. “We have nothing to announce at this time,” WWE have since stated.

The stadium is the home of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and houses 65,000 fans - although the attendance for 'Mania could be higher than that once all the seating on the pitch at ringside is accounted for.

'Mania 36 will be the fourth time the Grandest Stage Of Them All will be erected in the state of Florida.  Two years ago, WrestleMania 33 - headlined by The Undertaker and Roman Reigns - took place inside Camping World Stadium, with WrestleMania XXVIII and XXIV the other two shows in question.
