WWE WrestleMania 37 On-Sale Date Pushed Back

A new date is expected soon

The original plan for WrestleMania 37 tickets was for them to go on sale on Tuesday, March 16. However, that date has now been pushed back.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has posted a statement he received from WWE, which reads, "The WrestleMania on sale will be moved as plans for the two-night event are still being finalized. We expect a new on sale date within the next week."

The push-back was also announced during Raw.

Several reports emerged that WWE was planning on hosting upwards of 45,000 fans on each night (Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11) at the open-air venue. Super Bowl 55 last month was held inside the same stadium, and hosted just under 25,000 fans (many of them vaccinated front-line workers) at the 66,000-seat building.

The following matches have been announced so far for WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa:

* WWE World: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge

* SmackDown Women's: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair

* Raw Tag Team: The New Day (c) vs. AJ Styles and Omos
