Title Changes Hands On WWE Raw, WrestleMania Match Announced
One led to the other
Another match from the Raw brand has been added to WrestleMania 37, following a title change on Monday's episode of WWE Raw.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are once against Raw Tag Team champions, after defeating Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander of The Hurt Business. The finish came when The New Day hit Benjamin with the Day Break.
As Kingston and Woods celebrated their championship victory, AJ Styles and Omos interrupted. Styles congratulated the two on winning the belts, and then began rattling off his own career accomplishments.
This led to Styles saying Omos had the idea of winning Tag Team gold together, thus Styles challenged The New Day to a title match at WrestleMania. The champions accepted.
The current card for WWE WrestleMania 37, taking place Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, is as follows:
* WWE World: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge
* SmackDown Women's: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair
* Raw Tag Team: The New Day (c) vs. AJ Styles and Omos
