WWE WrestleMania 39 Announced As 2-Night Event In Los Angeles

WrestleMania goes Hollywood again

WWE has officially announced that WrestleMania 39 will take place at SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, CA, and will be a two night event.

WrestleMania 39 will be held on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2, 2023.

This will be the sixth time that WrestleMania takes place in the greater LA metro area. WrestleManias 2 (the latter third of the show) and 7 took place at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, while 12 and 16 were held at the Arrowhead Pond/Honda Center in Anaheim. WrestleMania 21 in 2005 took place at what was then known as Staples Center.

WrestleMania 37 was originally scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium, before plans changed due to the pandemic. In early 2021, WWE rearranged the WrestleMania schedule to put 37 in Tampa, 38 in Dallas, and 39 in Los Angeles.

SoFi Stadium opened in 2020, and has an official capacity of over 70,000 for football games. It is home to the NFL's Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, and was home of Super Bowl 56 this past February (coincidentally won by the Rams).
