WWE and Tom Brady are in talks over the seven-time Super Bowl Champion appearing at WrestleMania 42, but the two sides have yet to agree to a deal, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. This is despite Tom Brady working an anti-pro wrestling angle in recent weeks where he argues with the likes of Logan Paul and other WWE wrestlers.
"From what I have been told, they are in negotiations with Tom Brady, but there is absolutely not a deal at this point for Tom Brady. So it could happen. Obviously Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working. I mean, everyone knows they're working the angle, I think people have seen that coming in. There could be something in some form at WrestleMania. It would not be a surprise and what they did in the football game was clearly to build it, just as all the talk of Tom Brady cutting down pro wrestlers and the wrestlers all responding that is all storyline. That's not like Tom Brady's a d*ck and he doesn't respect pro wrestling," Meltzer said.
Tom Brady has repeatedly insulted pro wrestling over the past several weeks, referring to WWE as "very cute" and calling wrestling "fake BS." Brady has also repeatedly insulted Logan Paul's athleticism and they had a brief confrontation during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on Saturday, March 21 when the former NFL quarterback threw a football at Paul following a trick play which had the WWE wrestler fooled. This prompted Paul to barge into Brady, drawing a flag in the process.
Tom Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and a key partner with Fanatics. WWE have worked with Fanatics as their merchandise partner since 2022, while Allegiant Stadium - the home of the Las Vegas Raiders - will host WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and April 19.
Work has been underway within WWE on Tom Brady potentially collaborating with the company for several weeks to the point that WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported in early March that special merchandise has been worked on, including merch with 'T-Bone' and 'The Untouchable Tom Brady' as monikers.
Informal talks between WWE and Tom Brady's representatives reportedly took place in 2025 after it was decided that WrestleMania would be held at Allegiant Stadium for the second year in a row.
