Update On Bron Breakker's Recovery From Hernia Surgery

Bron Breakker is drawing closer to a return from injury every day and that process will continue in the coming days.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported the former WWE Intercontinental Champion is expected to be at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida this week as part of the process to be cleared to return to the ring. Bron Breakker has been out of action since early February after undergoing surgery to repair a hernia. Breakker had been suffering from a hernia for some time and he required surgery after it flared up.

It was noted in recent days that there is a sense of optimism within WWE that Breakker will be cleared in time for WrestleMania 42. There is a plan in place for Breakker at the Showcase of the Immortals, which may well be Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins, a match that was set up at the Royal Rumble when Breakker was laid out by a masked man before he entered the men's Royal Rumble match. Rollins was then unveiled as the masked man at Elimination Chamber.

Another name at the WWE Performance Center this week is WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton of the Rock 'n' Roll Express, who will be serving as a guest trainer at the WWE training facility.
