WWE Optimistic Bron Breakker Will Be Cleared For WrestleMania 42

A match that looked to have been derailed for WrestleMania 42 might end up taking place after all.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that there is a sense of optimism within WWE that Bron Breakker could be cleared to return in time for WrestleMania. Should Breakker end up being cleared, there is a plan in place for the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Breakker has been sidelined since early February due to undergoing surgery to repair a hernia. Breakker had been dealing with the hernia for some time, but it flared up in February and it was determined he would need to go under the knife.

Breakker's injury came after an angle at the Royal Rumble which saw him be taken out by a masked man on his way to the ring to enter the Rumble match at #2. The attack resulted in Breakker being eliminated from the match by Oba Femi within seconds.

The angle was done to set up Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins for WrestleMania 42, with Rollins being unveiled as the Masked Man at Elimination Chamber. Rollins has continued to combat The Vision in Breakker and Bronson Reed's absence, with the only two members of the faction not currently injured being Logan Paul and Austin Theory.

WrestleMania 42 is just under one month away as the show will emanate from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.
