Mercedes Moné looks set to return to All Elite Wrestling in the near future.
Moné has not wrestled on AEW TV since she dropped the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale on the New Year's Smash episode of Dynamite on December 31. Her most recent appearance came on the January 10 episode of AEW Collision when Mercedes appeared in a vignette and promised to take more than just titles.
Moné has still been active in professional wrestling while away from AEW and she is currently in the process of losing many of the championships she won in recent years in CMLL and on the European independent wrestling scene.
Speaking with IL61, Moné has revealed the final date of her current indy tour will be for Winnipeg Pro Wrestling on March 31 when she defends the WPW Women's Championship at WPW Fight at the Museum.
"I'm returning really, really soon. Right now, I am on my Moné Madness Tour all over Europe. First it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, Mama is gonna return home," Mercedes said.
Just one day after the WPW event, All Elite Wrestling are taping Dynamite and Collision on April 1 from Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre, so this may well be the show where Moné makes her return.
Mercedes Moné's return to All Elite Wrestling will come at a critical time for the promotion too, as it has been reported the AEW women's division will be without one of their top stars in Toni Storm for "a long time."
