Bandido may be able to continue appearing for All Elite Wrestling despite a visa issue he is currently dealing with.

Squared Circle Expo, a pro wrestling convention in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 27 and March 28, has announced that Bandido would not be able to appear at the event due to travel issues. It was then reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that the reigning ROH World Champion was suffering from a visa issue.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported, however, that AEW being exempt from President Donald Trump's visa ban may mean Bandido is okay to continue wrestling for AEW in the United States despite his visa trouble.

Even if the issue does prevent Bandido from wrestling in the United States, he would be able to appear at the April 1 and April 8 tapings of AEW Dynamite and Collision as both events will be held in Canada. Bandido would also be able to wrestle at the Dynasty pay-per-view on April 12 as the show will emanate from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Trump administration introduced an athlete exemption to the visa ban in January 2026 which included WWE and AEW on the list of professional sports leagues.

Bandido last wrestled for AEW at the Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, March 15 where he lost to Andrade El Ídolo. The match was critically acclaimed.
