WWE's Lyra Valkyria To Appear At OTT

WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh recently made an appearance in Irish indie promotion Over The Top Wrestling, wrestling on their Tenth Anniversary show back on October 26 last month in a winning effort over The Social Elite (Matthew Smyth & Sean Guinness). OTT will be seeing some more WWE presence in the near future. 

It was announced via OTT’s social media that Monday Night RAW superstar Lyra Valkyria would be making an appearance at their December 21 ‘The Dream Before Christmas’ show at The Complex in Dublin. This marks’ Valkyria’s first match in OTT for over five years, where she previously reigned as Women’s Champion. 

Fightful Select offered some further details on her appearance, with there being apparent surprise from many of those in OTT over her return, learning only about the announcement via social media. There was also some surprise at the fact that Valkyria was returning with her former Woke Queens’ partner Debbie Keitel. It was noted by a source in OTT that a reunion of the tag team would be seen as a special moment, and that although the promotion expected some more WWE crossover in the future, they didn’t think it would happen so soon after the appearance of Balor & McDonagh.
