WWE's Triple H Undergoes 'Successful Procedure' After 'Cardiac Event'

Triple H underwent the procedure last week

WWE have announced that long-time star and Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy Development Paul 'Triple H' Levesque has undergone a successful procedure after experiencing a 'cardiac event' last week.

The promotion released a statement on Wednesday that confirmed the NXT Executive Producer was expected to make a full recovery following the incident.

WWE wrote: "Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery."

No further details have been reported regarding Levesque's condition.

Triple H has been semi-retired from in-ring competition in recent years, last competing for WWE at a live event in Japan in mid-2019. The 52-year-old has been utilised sparingly in recent years, appearing at WrestleManias and events in Saudi Arabia.

Levesque was noted as being in attendance for WWE SummerSlam at the end of August too, having been in Las Vegas for WWE NXT try-outs as well.

Everyone at Cultaholic would like to send their best wishes to Paul and his family during his recovery.
