It looks like Xavier Woods is facing a spell on the sidelines through injury.
The former SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion took to Twitter earlier today, tweeting "Sorry #WWESydney" with a gif of an Achilles Tendon being injured.

Woods was in the midst of a match against The Revival when the injury occurred at a live event over the weekend. Fans inside the arena looked on as he fell to his knees immediately after an Irish Whip. The referee then threw up the dreaded 'X' symbol so he could receive medical attention.
At the time of writing there has been no official confirmation from WWE in terms of what the injury actually is or how long Xavier could be out of action for.
During last week's Friday Night SmackDown, Woods teamed with Big E and Heavy Machinery to defeat the foursome of Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson.
Woods was in-line to be a part of the nine-team tag team turmoil match to determine the winner of the WWE Tag Team World Cup at Crown Jewel next Thursday. Kofi Kingston and Big E will likely represent The New Day in that one.
Everyone at Cultaholic wishes Xavier a very speedy recovery.
