Xavier Woods is currently out of action, with Kofi Kingston announcing on Monday Night Raw that his New Day stablemate has been suffering from a shoulder injury for the past three months and now he has been advised by WWE's medical team to take time off to recover.
How long Woods will be out of action is unknown, but the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion addressed his absence, simply tweeting, "BRB." A message from Woods insulting the fans in attendance at Raw was also read out by Grayson Waller.
Xavier Woods hasn't performed since a dark match before the Royal Rumble where he teamed with Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller in a loss to Shinsuke Nakamura and the Motor City Machine Guns. His most recent televised match was on January 26 when The New Day competed in a four-way number one contender's match for the World Tag Team Championships that was ultimately won by Otis and Akira Tozawa of Alpha Academy.
Xavier Woods won't be leaving WWE anytime soon as he signed a new multi-year deal with the company last year, shortly before his contract was due to expire in September 2025.
