Xavier Woods Shares Video Of Moment He Sustained Achilles Injury

During tour of Australia...

While teaming with Big E in a tag match against The Revival last week in Sydney, Australia, Xavier Woods sustained a devastating injury while in the ring with Dash Wilder. The result was an injury to the Achilles tendon in Woods' left leg.

On Monday, Woods shared to his Instagram fan footage of the moment the injury took place, entitled, "The Many Phases of the #OffSeason".

While working a spirited sequence with Wilder that included lots of reversals and rope-running, Woods dropped down out of a back suplex attempt, attempted to dart off the ropes, and suddenly collapsed awkwardly to the canvas.

Interspersed with the footage are clips of Woods laying down with his left leg heavily bandaged, to a soundtrack of Kelly Clarkson's "Behind These Hazel Eyes".

Woods had surgery last week to repair the injury. As of this writing, there is no given timetable on when he'll return.

Recovery time can vary, depending on the severity of the injury, with most cases falling between six months and one year.
