Xyon Quinn Makes WWE NXT Debut

Quinn went one on one with Boa

Developmental Talent Xyon Quinn made his WWE NXT debut on the August 24 edition of the black and gold brand.

Quinn faced off against Tian Sha's Boa during his in-ring debut. In a somewhat surprising result, Quinn pinned the more established NXT Superstar after Boa became distracted by Mei Ying. This provided the opening for Quinn to connect with a Running Elbow for the 1-2-3.

Quinn moved to confront Mei Ying after the match, but decided not to at this time.

Formerly billed as his real-life name Daniel Vidot, Quinn signed with WWE back in May 2018 and he worked the NXT house show circuit until the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. Quinn was previously used on SmackDown under his former name in a squash match against Sheamus and he recently teamed with Odyssey Jones against Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Austin Theory in a SmackDown dark match.

Before his career in WWE, Quinn was a professional rugby league player in Australia and England from 2009 until 2017.
