Xyon Quinn Vs. Santos Escobar Set For December 7 WWE NXT 2.0
The rivalry continues
WWE are already making plans for the post-WarGames edition of NXT 2.0.
The company announced on Tuesday that Xyon Quinn will go one on one with Santos Escobar on next week's episode of NXT 2.0. The match came about after the former rugby player and Escobar brawled during Legado del Fantasma's match against Kyle O'Reilly and Von Wagner.
The brawl would ultimately take Escobar away from ringside and Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza went on to lose to O'Reilly and Wagner, who earned an NXT Tag Team Title shot at WarGames in the process.
The rivalry between Legado del Fantasma and Xyon Quinn has been bubbling away in recent weeks since Quinn rejected an offer from Elektra Lopez to join the faction. The sexual tension between Lopez and Xyon has continued to rise on-screen, though, and she later wished Quinn luck ahead of next week's match, because he is going to need it.
No other matches have been announced for the December 3 show as of yet.
