Yuka Sakazaki Returning To AEW In July

She has a history with Britt Baker

The Joshi presence in AEW will grow next month.

Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling announced on Twitter today that Yuka Sakazaki will go on excursion to All Elite Wrestling next month, writing: "Yuka Sakazaki @YukaSakazaki will be on US excursion! She will be in the US from July to appear in #AEW."

Sakazaki has been a member of the AEW roster since the promotion's first show, Double Or Nothing 2019. She teamed with Aja Kong and Emi Sakura against Riho, Hikaru Shida and Ryo Mizunami at the pay-per-view. She has continued to make sporadic appearances in AEW since then, wrestling in a Three-Way at Fyter Fest in 2019 before a brief run on Dynamite in February 2020.

Sakazaki then headed back to Japan but she competed in an AEW ring again earlier this year as a competitor in the Japan bracket of the AEW Women's World Title Eliminator Tournament.

Sakazaki also has a history with AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker dating back to her February 2020 run. The Magic Girl defeated Baker in their only match, but The Role Model knocked out one of Sakazaki's teeth as a measure of revenge for the defeat.
