Zelina Vega Wins Queen's Crown Tournament At WWE Crown Jewel

All hail the new Queen

Zelina Vega is the first ever winner of the WWE Queen's Crown tournament, after defeating Doudrop in the tournament final at Crown Jewel in Riyadh on Thursday.

In the final moments of the match, Doudrop planted Vega with a spinning side slam, and followed up with a senton, before missing a splash. Vega then capitalized with a Code Red for the win, at a shade under six minutes.

After the match, Vega took to the throne, and received a crown and scepter.

Vega's road to the finals saw her defeat Toni Storm in the quarterfinals, followed by defeating Carmella in the semis. Doudrop defeated Natalya in the quarterfinal round, before pinning Shayna Baszler this past Monday on Raw.

Vega returned to WWE television in July, after having been released the previous November. Aside from defeating Liv Morgan on an episode of SmackDown in September, Vega hadn't won any matches during her comeback run until the Queen's Crown tournament commenced.

Vega was moved to Monday Night Raw from SmackDown in the draft earlier this month. The draft moves go into effect following Crown Jewel.
