Zelina Vs. Sasha Banks, New Day Vs. Sheamus/Holland Set For 3/11 WWE SmackDown
The road to WrestleMania continues
Women's Tag Team champion Queen Zelina will face Sasha Banks on next week's WWE SmackDown, while Big E and Kofi Kingston of The New Day will face Sheamus and Ridge Holland.
On Friday's edition of SmackDown, Naomi defeated Carmella in singles competition. A week ago, Banks and Naomi issued a challenge to Carmella and Zelina for the Tag Team titles at WrestleMania 38. The champions accepted the match on this past Monday's Raw.
The other match comes after Big E was originally supposed to face Sheamus in singles action on Friday's SmackDown. However, the bout never took place, as Holland attacked Kingston with a chair prior to the match. After Sheamus subsequently took Big E out, he and Holland made off with The New Day's ATV. Later on backstage, the two men were shown to be destroying the ATV.
The current card for next Friday's WWE SmackDown, taking place at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL, is as follows:
* Sasha Banks vs. Queen Zelina
* Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland
