Josh Alexander Returns To Impact Under Multi-Year Deal

And he's getting a title shot

Impact Wrestling triple crown winner Josh Alexander has signed a new deal with the promotion, and made his return to the company Saturday night at Sacrifice in Louisville.

Alexander appeared after Sacrifice's main event, in which Impact World champion Moose defeated Heath. Alexander laid Moose out, and revealed that he signed a new multi-year deal with the company. As part of that deal, he will face Moose for the title at Rebellion next month.

Alexander had previously pulled out of independent dates due to the expiration of his work visa earlier this year. He last worked for Impact at their January 21 TV tapings.

Moose won the Impact World title from Alexander at Bound For Glory on October 23 in Las Vegas. Alexander had just defeated Christian Cage to win the title when Moose (who had won the Call Your Shot gauntlet earlier in the night) immediately cashed in with a title match. Mere seconds later, Moose defeated Alexander to win the title.

Rebellion will take place on Saturday, April 23 from the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
