On April 27, 2018, WWE's then-new controversial partnership with Saudi Arabia saw the company produce the Greatest Royal Rumble from King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah.

The show was one of the weirdest in WWE history and featured a whole host of awful matches like Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns inside a steel cage, Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal, and The Undertaker vs. Rusev in a Casket Match.

The weirdest match was saved for last, though, as WWE held the Greatest Royal Rumble, a Royal Rumble match with 50 entrants and no shot at earning a spot in the main event of WrestleMania. Instead, the winner earned a belt that was never seen again.
