QUIZ: Name Every WWE Cruiserweight Champion (2001-2007)

Following the World Wrestling Federation's purchase of World Championship Wrestling in March 2001, the Cruiserweight Title transferred to Vince McMahon's company as part of the Invasion storyline that dominated the remainder of the year.

The belt remained the WCW Cruiserweight Title until WWF defeated The Alliance at Survivor Series 2001, when the belt was renamed the WWF Cruiserweight Championship, and the WWF Light Heavyweight Title was retired.

Following the introduction of the (now-WWE) brand split, the Cruiserweight Title became exclusive to SmackDown and helped define the blue brand until the Cruiserweight Championship was retired in 2007.
