Absent AEW Talent Officially Cleared For In-Ring Return

An AEW talent has been cleared to return to the ring

An absent All Elite Wrestling talent has been cleared to return to in-ring competition.

Having last wrestled in March 2023, Tay Melo has now been cleared to make her return to the ring, with Melo having been out of action due to giving birth to her first child. Melo announced she had been cleared during Sammy Guevara’s latest vlog, with Melo saying it’s up to AEW and President Tony Khan as to when Melo will make her return.

Melo was in London during All In weekend, visiting with Guevara who performed during the Zero Hour pre-show.

Tay’s last match came alongside Guevara at an indy event in March 2023, with Melo’s last AEW appearance coming that January when she and tag partner Anna Jay lost a tag team Street Fight against Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale on an episode of AEW Rampage.

Multiple AEW stars have recently returned to the promotion after lay-offs, with Jamie Hayter making her first appearance in 13 months at All In, whilst Nigel McGuinness wrestled for the first time in 13 years on the show.
