Terry Crews Believes He Probably Would Have Been A Pro Wrestler If Not For A Couple Of Auditions

We could have seen more of T-Money in the ring, were it not for his success in Hollywood.

In an alternate universe, could Terry Crews have been a WWE champion?

According to the football player-turned-actor, he almost pursued a career in professional wrestling and may have ended up being a wrestler were it not for a couple of auditions.

Speaking with WWE's Cathy Kelley on the red carpet prior to the premiere of The Killer's Game (which also stars Batista and Drew McIntyre), Crews said:

"[Dave Bautista and Drew McIntyre] stole the movie in a lot of ways. It was incredible. If it were not for a couple of auditions, I probably would have been a professional wrestler, but I just happened to be an actor first. Let me tell you, it's the same thing. The discipline is the same, the artistry is the same, the creativity is the same. I have nothing but respect for what they do, and when I look at me and Dave as former athletes in this business, we understand how rare it is that we're here".

Crews (as T-Money) did make appearances on WCW programming in late 2000 as part of a brief cross-promotional feud with the participants of the Battle Dome programme. He also did the cold open for WWE SummerSlam 2018.
