Popular Talent Returns At AEW Collision Tapings

Popular talent returns on AEW Collision

After several months out of action, a popular talent made their return to All Elite Wrestling at Thursday night's Collision taping in Dayton, Ohio.

AEW announced ahead of the show that Yuka Sakazaki would be back in action on Collision, taking on Serena Deeb. This comes after Sakazaki was cleared by AEW's medical team to return to the ring.

Sakazaki picked up the win in her return match against Serena Deeb. The match will air on Saturday night in AEW Collision's regular time slot of 8 pm ET to 10 pm ET on TNT.

Sakazaki had been out of action since suffering a leg injury during her match against Emi Sakura on the April 20 episode of Rampage. The injury occurred after Sakazaki fell awkwardly following a springboard move on the top rope.

Yuka Sakazaki has made appearances in AEW since the promotion was founded in 2019. She is now based in the United States, having moved from Japan earlier this year. Courtesy of her win at Thursday's tapings, Sakazaki is 4-0 in AEW/ROH in 2024, having already picked up wins against Trish Adora, Emi Sakura, and Leila Grey.
