AEW Angle At San Diego Comic-Con Leads To All In Match Announcement

A new match has been announced for AEW All In after an angle at San Diego Comic-Con

All Elite Wrestling is firmly on the road to All In, with the second Wembley Stadium supershow set for August 25.

Only a handful of matches have been announced for the event so far, but a major title match was officially confirmed after an angle at San Diego Comic-Con.

After weeks of animosity across AEW TV, AEW President Tony Khan has officially green-lit a TBS Title clash between champion Mercedes Moné and challenger Britt Baker, after the pair traded further verbal and physical jabs at one another during AEW’s panel at the convention.

Baker was asked about a potential match with Moné despite being turned down by the champ, to which Moné and Kamille arrived on the scene respectively dressed as Batman villains Poison Ivy and Bane. Moné again ran down Baker before the two got into a shoving match, with numerous AEW stars present on the panel having to step in and separate them.

Tony Khan got on the mic to state he was sick of the constant bickering between the two, and officially sanctioned the match for All In.

Updated card - AEW All In, August 25, 2024:

  • Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - AEW World Championship
  • Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay - AEW American Championship
  • Jack Perry (c) vs. Darby Allin - TNT Championship
  • Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Britt Baker - TBS Championship
