AEW Collision Grand Slam 2024 Spoilers

All the action from the AEW Collision Grand Slam 2024 tapings

All Elite Wrestling returned to New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium for Grand Slam IV on September 25, broadcasting a live edition of Dynamite and taping the upcoming Grand Slam edition of Collision - set to air on September 28.

We have all the results from the taping session after the jump.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Before the Dynamite portion of the show, TNT Champion Jack Perry was in action, with the ‘Scapegoat’ taking on ‘The King of Pancrase’ Minoru Suzuki. Perry managed to overcome ‘Murder Grandpa’ and left with the big win.

The rest of Collision was taped following Dynamite’s conclusion, kicking off with trios action as The Learning Tree took on The Conglomeration. The Learning Tree got the win with Chris Jericho pinning Mark Briscoe after the ROH World Champion had been put through a table by Big Bill.

Brody King returned to singles competition for the first time in several months, with King getting a win over Action Andretti. Post-match, The Righteous and Lance Archer made their way to ringside to fight with Top Flight and Andretti, with the two teams broken up before things got too ugly.

Jamie Hayter continued her winning streak since returning at All In in August, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion defeating Saraya in a Saraya’s Rules match. This was followed by Hangman Page defeating Jeff Jarrett in a Lumberjack Strap match.

AEW World Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta successfully defended their titles against Private Party and Komander, but it’s still not clear if Yuta is on the same page as his teammates or not after their recent violent outbursts.

The MxM Connection sought to put their stylish stamp on Arthur Ashe, complete with models, a runway, and a new and improved version of Max Caster’s jacket. However, they didn’t realise that the model sporting the jacket was Daddy Ass Billy Gunn, who proceeded to attack Mason and Mansoor, with The Acclaimed joining Gunn in cleaning house.

Hologram defeated The Beast Mortos and Dralistico in three-way action, with a pin on Dralistico sealing the deal. However, RUSH made his way to the ring post-match to lead a three-on-one beatdown of Hologram with Mortos and Dralistico. Are La Faccion Ingobernable reformed?

And finally in Collision’s main event, AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada defeated Sammy Guevara in a proving ground match, with Okada getting the win with a Rainmaker.
