AEW Rampage Set To Be Cancelled

AEW Rampage to be discontinued

All Elite Wrestling will soon be finished as a series, at least on Warner Bros. Discovery networks.

It was officially announced on Wednesday that AEW and WBD had agreed to a new multi-year TV deal. The new deal is for three years with an option for a fourth year, according to reports, that will make All Elite Wrestling very profitable

The new deal noted AEW Dynamite would remain on TBS on Wednesday nights, while AEW Collision will air on Saturday nights on TNT. Both shows will also air live and on demand on Max, while AEW pay-per-views will also be available on Max at a discounted price later in 2025.

There was no mention of AEW Rampage in the new TV deal, however, and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported that Rampage will be discontinued, with Fightful Select also noting that Rampage will no longer air on Warner Bros. Discovery when the new TV deal begins on January 1, 2025.

Fightful further reported that both WBD and AEW prioritised Dynamite and Collision in the new TV deal. Rampage could end up elsewhere but there is no word on any plans to shop around the Friday night show and there have instead been reports that AEW are in talks with Fox over AEW Shockwave, which would be a new series from Tony Khan's promotion.

AEW Rampage has been on the air since August 2021. The show initially featured some major moments, including Christian Cage's IMPACT World Title win and the AEW debut of CM Punk, but Rampage has fallen to become AEW's C show over the past couple of years.
