AEW's Kip Sabian Dealing With Another Injury

Superbad was written off of AEW TV on the last edition of Dynamite

As seen on the most recent edition of AEW: Dynamite, Kip Sabian has been written off of TV after former best friend and best man Miro savagely attacked him. According to a report from Fightful Select, this is to give Sabian time to heal from injury, with Miro’s attack giving Superbad the perfect write-off for the time being.

Writing on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp said:

“We haven't seen Kip Sabian wrestle in over a month after he returned from an injury that had sidelined him for a couple before that. We weren't told of a specific injury, but were told in late April that Sabian was "on the shelf" again, prior to being attacked by Miro on last week's Dynamite.”

Indeed, Sabian’s last match on AEW TV was the Arcade Anarchy Match with Miro against Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor on the March 25 edition of Dynamite. Prior to this Sabian was out from December 2020 until February 2021.

Sabian himself addressed his injury on Twitter, confirming that he requires surgery, saying “Thanks @ToBeMiro. Surgery incoming. Eyes finally opened. #Superbad” accompanied by a gif of Spider-Man being infected by the Symbiote in Spider-Man 3.
