AJ Francis Would Like To Work Programme With Swerve Strickland

AJ Francis wants to work with former Hit Row ally Swerve Strickland

Swerve Strickland has had the most notable year of his entire career in 2024, climbing the ranks to become the AEW World Champion, facing Bryan Danielson in the main event of All In: London in Wembley Stadium, and rekindling his highly personal feud with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

Prior to his successful run in AEW, Strickland competed in WWE as part of the popular Hit Row faction. One of his teammates was AJ Francis, FKA Top Dolla. Francis is currently competing in TNA, but he is open to crossing the border to work with Strickland, believing a program between them to be money when speaking on Straight Talk Wrestling.

“Me versus Swerve would make so much money. Just the promos alone, the backstory, but I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen, and sadly, there’s a million reasons why I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen. Mainly because I love my time in TNA. I’m a big believer in…I was in a relationship with a woman that didn’t appreciate me and made the world think that I was one way, and now, I’m in a relationship with a woman that worships the ground that I walk on and treats me right and lets people know how great I am, and that’s what I am with TNA, and that’s why I’m happy exactly where I’m at."

Strickland has been off AEW programming ever since AEW All Out 2024 following his brutal Lights Out Steel Cage match with Adam Page, but it is reported that he is set to be back sooner than expected.
