More on Jamie Hayter’s AEW return at All In 2024
Jamie Hayter made her first appearance in over 14 months at All In 2024, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion emerging during the Zero Hour pre-show for a fight with Saraya and The Knight Family.
A report from Fightful Select has shed some more light on Hayter’s comeback, with it seen over the past few months that a return to in-ring action was a real possibility, with tentative plans for an All In appearance put in place as a result.
Plans for Hayter’s All In appearance weren’t finalised until the week of the show, with Hayter having recently met with AEW President Tony Khan at an AEW TV taping. At one point a squash match was pitched for Hayter, with the former Women’s Champion having been cleared for a full return to active competition, but it seems instead that AEW are setting up Hayter vs. Saraya for later down the road.
Saraya herself launched a foul-mouthed tirade at Hayter and the journalists in attendance at the post-All In media scrum, and it seems as though Saraya vs. Hayter will be happening sooner rather than later, with a match between the two former world champions possible for All Out on September 7.
