Brian Myers Thought The AEW-IMPACT Working Relationship Was A "Great Partnership”

AEW wrestlers crossed over to IMPACT on many occasions in early 2021

2021 kicked off with one of the biggest wrestling crossovers in years, as Kenny Omega crossed ‘the forbidden door’ from AEW to IMPACT Wrestling, soon reigning over both promotions as world champion.

Whilst some have criticised AEW for the working relationship appearing one-sided in their favour, IMPACT’s Brian Myers thinks differently, telling the Wrestling Inc. Daily:

“I believe that scenario is over. Whatever it was agreed upon is all played out, I thought it was a great partnership and really good exposure for everybody.”

Myers himself believes AEW in general are doing a great job and have changed the wrestling business for the better:

“I love it. It’s changed the wrestling business, it’s incredible,” Myers admits. “I mean, it has changed everything, a legit number two, or equal at this point, right? A one and one, which for me, being in the business 17 years now, I’ve never been a part of something like that where it is two mega-companies going head to head. It’s just healthy for the business.”
