Britt Baker Reveals She Suffered Mini Stroke In 2023, Challenges Mercedes Moné To AEW All In 2024 Match

Britt Baker wants Mercedes Moné at AEW All In after returning from mini stroke

After making her All Elite Wrestling return at Forbidden Door on June 30, Britt Baker returned to Dynamite on Beach Break on July 3 to speak about her absence, whilst looking to the future.

Baker last wrestled in September 2023 before going on an extended hiatus, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion having been training for a return in recent months. On Dynamite, Baker revealed that she was feeling banged up in late 2023, dealing with a degree of burnout alongside some herniated discs and a torn hip labrum.

Unfortunately for Baker, she started to feel ‘really sick’ and experienced dizziness, blurry vision, and a numb and tingly right arm, with it later transpiring that Baker suffered a TIA or a mini-stroke, with ‘The Dentist’ spending a week in hospital after the entire right-hand side of her body stopped working.

Baker stated that she is back now, and is healthy and ready to compete, before turning her attention back to TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. Baker took shots at the ‘CEO’ before Moné made her way to the ring for her NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship celebration - after a brief chat backstage with The Young Bucks.

‘DMD’ and the ‘CEO’ went back and forth on the mic, with Baker challenging Moné to a match at All In Wembley in August, but Moné brushed Britt off, telling her to get in line behind more deserving women.
