Daniel Bryan On His WWE Future: "I'm More Going To Be A Full-Time Dad, Part-Time Wrestler"

His days as a full-time Superstar are numbered...

Daniel Bryan's days as a full-time WWE Superstar appear to be coming to an end.

The former WWE Champion was recently interviewed by BT Sport, during which he talked about how much he is enjoying being a father to his two children. He then revealed he is looking to transition to being "a full-time dad, part-time wrestler" after his WWE contract expires.

Bryan said: "So now I'm just kind of switching priorities in my life where for years wrestling has been kind of the key focus and all that kind of stuff. My contract is coming up soon and not to say that, but we're looking at transitioning me to maybe less than a full-time wrestler. My time as being a full-time wrestler are numbered and I'm more going to be a full-time dad, part-time wrestler."

This follows on from Bryan's comments back in March where he admitted he was considering going part-time.

The American Dragon stated: "WWE has been great, they're going to give me six weeks paternity leave, which so few places in the United States do that, so I'll get to be home for six weeks. But then after that, it's not long until my contract is up... To me, in my mind, I think I'm just done being a full-time wrestler. I love being a dad. I will always love wrestling and I always want to do wrestling, but when I say always do wrestling, that means like maybe once a month or once every couple of months."
