IMPACT Wrestling Super X-Cup Brackets Revealed

IMPACT Wrestling recently announced the Super X-Cup will return at Genesis on January 9 and the brackets for the tournament were revealed last night. 

On the left bracket, Ace Austin will face Suicide and Daivari will take on Cousin Jake. The right bracket will feature Crazzy Steve vs. Tre Lamar and KC Navarro vs. Blake Christian. 

Both Blake Christian and Tre Lamar will make their IMPACT Wrestling debuts in the tournament. Christian has regularly competed in Game Changer Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2020. He was a part of the Super J-Cup but was eliminated in the semi-finals by eventual winner El Phantasmo. Tre Lamar has been widely praised on the indies and has competed in GCW, Warrior Wrestling and Black Label Pro. 

Ace Austin will also return to IMPACT Wrestling during the Super X-Cup. Outside of one match on Xplosion in November, the former X Division Champion has been off TV since Bound For Glory. 

The only other announced match on the Genesis card is Moose vs. Willie Mack in an I Quit Match.
