Dave Brown To Be Guest Announcer At AEW Collision

A Memphis Wrestling icon will be on AEW Collision

In a few weeks time on October 18th, AEW will be heading to the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee for an episode of Collision, and with it they will be inviting along a very special guest.

It was announced yesterday that legendary voice Dave Brown will be at the show as a guest announcer. Brown was notably a big name in the area as one of the voices of Memphis Wrestling alongside Lance Russell, with the pair being inducted into the Memphis Wrestling Hall of Fame back in 2017 for being one of the most iconic commentary duos of all time. It isn’t clear how big of a role he will play at the show and whether it will be just him announcing for one match, but fans can expect to see him next month either way.

This won’t be Brown’s first appearance on an AEW show, as he was brought along in 2020 for a special “Tribute to the Legends of Memphis Wrestling”. Brown is also known for being the chief meteorologist for WMC-TV for nearly four decades
