Details Of The WrestleMania 35 Angle WWE Pitched To The Young Bucks Revealed
An Invasion...
Before forming All Elite Wrestling alongside Cody Rhodes and Tony Khan, Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks were reportedly offered deals by WWE that would have put them on 'AJ Styles' kind of money, while also seeing Being The Elite made one of the main shows on the WWE Network.
Another part of that deal has recently been revealed, with a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio discussing the plans WWE had for the Bucks should they have signed with the company.
WWE pitched an invasion angle to Matt and Nick - which Dave Meltzer speculates would have also involved the likes of Cody, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega running riot all over WWE (all three were also offered deals by WWE before opting to go with AEW).
The respective deals offered by WWE were also said to have included a few individual promises for each of the AEW roster members, including a break after six months if things weren't going to plan.
Ultimately, those mentioned above turned down the deals and are now looking forward to AEW's first official event - Double Or Nothing - on May 25.
