Kenny Omega Talks Negotiating With WWE - Details Of AEW Contract Revealed

The Executive Vice President of AEW can still wrestle for NJPW...

The All Elite Wrestling Double Or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party culminated with an appearance from Kenny Omega.

The new Executive Vice President of the company, who was attacked by Chris Jericho to presumably set up a match for Double Or Nothing, appeared in an interview with Dave Meltzer and Garrett Gonzales recently, where it was revealed The Best Bout Machine has signed a four-year contract with AEW.

Omega also told of how he's had it specifically written into his new deal that he can go and appear for New Japan Pro Wrestling any time he wants.

Kenny spoke about negotiating with WWE, with the entire process exceeding the expectations outlined by others: “The most surprising thing to me was just how accommodating and how cool it was to discuss, you know, future with WWE," Kenny said.

"I didn’t think they’d ever be in the running. I was like ‘yeah, I’ll hear you guys out’ but I didn’t think it’d be good because everyone was telling me, well, what to expect.

“I have nothing but great things to say about them, but in the end, AEW was the best thing for me and, you know, it’s the most exciting choice I’ve made in my career.”
