Jon Moxley Talks About Winning The AEW World Championship At Revolution

The Mox Era begins...

On Saturday, All Elite Wrestling hosted their fourth pay-per-view which was main evented by Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Despite Jericho throwing everything at The Maestro Of Mayhem, including The Inner Circle, and even trying to blind him, Moxley was able to overcome Le Champion after a second Paradigm Shift for the pinfall victory.

After the show, Moxley conducted a media scrum in which he discussed his victory. During the interview, Moxley told AJ Awesome that The Painmaker was his friend and was instrumental in bringing him to AEW, as both of them wanted to rejuvenate professional wrestling and provide an alternative to "scripted canned horsecrap" that fans had become used to WWE.

The AEW World Champion said: "He is my friend, He is a guy that, like I said, a year ago we had a conversation on the phone and we said ‘Let's bring f*****g pro wrestling back, pro wrestling that you grow up on, not crap, not sports entertainment, not scripted canned horsecrap. Pro wrestling.'"
