Sami Callihan Still A Free Agent Despite TNA Return
Update on Sami Callihan's TNA status
Apr 25, 2024
An update on Sami Callihan's pro wrestling future has emerged.
Callihan made his return to TNA Wrestling at the Rebellion pay-per-view, making the save for Jordynne Grace and PCO during Grace's Knockouts World Title match against Steph De Lander. Callihan appeared in the corner with a baseball bat in hand and he proceeded to take out Kon and The Good Hands. This allowed Grace to connect with the JML Driver on De Lander to record the successful title defence.
Callihan was then in action at the TNA IMPACT TV tapings on Sunday, April 21 against The Good Hands.
Despite his return, Sami Callihan is still a free agent and he has not signed with either TNA or Major League Wrestling, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Callihan will continue working for both promotions moving forward and he is free to sign with any company should he decide to in the future.
Sami Callihan was previously full-time in IMPACT/TNA for six years until he exited the company in September 2023 after the two sides failed to come to terms on a contract. While away from TNA, Callihan has performed for MLW and on the indies, including in his own Wrestling REVOLVER promotion.
