Sami Callihan Returns At TNA Rebellion 2024
Sami Callihan returns to TNA at Rebellion 2024
Sami Callihan made his return at TNA Rebellion 2024!
The lights went out twice during the Knockouts World Title match between Jordynne Grace and Steph De Lander, first going out for PCO as he laid out The Good Hands, who were at ringside to assist De Lander in the absence of Matt Cardona. PCO and Grace were attacked by Kon, though, which led to the lights going out again. When they came back on, Sami Callihan was stood in the corner with a baseball bat and he put the weapon to good use, laying out Kon and The Good Hands. Jordynne Grace then followed up with the JML Driver to Steph De Lander to record the successful title defence before she celebrated with Callihan and PCO.
Sami Callihan spent six years in TNA Wrestling until he exited the promotion when his contract expired at the end of September 2023. Callihan was one of the top stars in the promotion and he is a former TNA World Champion.
While away from TNA, Callihan performed for Major League Wrestling and on the indies, including for his own Wrestling REVOLVER promotion. This included a viral moment where Jason Segel helped Callihan superkick Penta El Zero Miedo at a Republic of Lucha event in October 2023.
There was reportedly lobbying within AEW for the promotion to sign Callihan in 2023 but the 36-year-old has now returned to TNA.
