Mike Santana has returned to TNA Wrestling at Rebellion.

Following the Full Metal Mayhem Match between Frankie Kazarian and Eric Young on the April 20 pay-per-view, former IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin made his way to the ring and revealed he had been offered a new contract by TNA Wrestling. He had one more demand before potentially putting pen to paper on a new deal, though, and that was a match right here, right now.

Maclin's demand brought out TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella, who announced he had just signed a new wrestler to TNA and they wanted to face Maclin. As music filled the Palms Resort, Mike Santana made his way through the crowd, confirming he was the newest TNA signing.

Santana had an impromptu match with Maclin and the former IMPACT World Champion came close, connecting with Crosshairs, but Santana managed to kick out at two. Santana then followed up soon after with his Spin the Block discus clothesline for the win to end his TNA return in style.

Santana previously performed in TNA Wrestling (then IMPACT Wrestling) from 2017 until 2019 as one-half of LAX with Ortiz. The tag team enjoyed four reigns as IMPACT World Tag Team Champions and one reign as GFW Tag Team Champions.

Upon leaving IMPACT, Santana headed to All Elite Wrestling, debuting at All Out 2019 with Ortiz. Proud & Powerful remained a tag team until a real-life falling out between Santana and Ortiz, although they did work a singles programme against each other in 2023. Santana exited AEW in early 2024 after his deal expired and it emerged in recent weeks that he would be returning to TNA.
