Tony Khan Sports Neck Brace For NFL Draft

Tony Khan wears neck brace for NFL Draft

Kayfabe is alive and well in Tony Khan's house!

The AEW CEO was involved in an angle to close the April 24 edition of Dynamite as he reinstated Jack Perry to the company following the former Jungle Boy's suspension. Perry and Khan looked set to go off the air on good terms but the former FTW Champion proceeded to punch Khan in the gut. The rest of The Elite in the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada then made their way to the ring, with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson laying out their boss with a Tony Khan Driver to end the show.

Tony Khan didn't have much time to rest as his role as Chief Strategy Officer for the Jacksonville Jaguars meant he was on hand for the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night. Khan kept kayfabe alive and he was shown in the Jaguars draft room sporting a neck brace while sitting alongside his father and Jaguars owner Shahid Khan and Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson.

The NFL Network noted while showing Khan in the neck brace that he "becomes the first ever NFL executive in a draft room shaking off the effects of a Piledriver he received on national television in a wrestling ring the night before."

Khan was already selling the effects of the attack in the early hours of Thursday morning as he wore a neck brace during the taping of Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta's Parking Lot Fight. The match will air on Saturday night's edition of Rampage.
