Final Competitor Confirmed For IMPACT Slammiversary Ultimate X Match

The final name for the X Division Ultimate X match at IMPACT Slammiversary has been revealed, with Alex Zayne revealed as the sixth competitor.

Zayne joins Jack Evans, Kenny King, Mike Bailey, Trey Miguel, and Champion Ace Austin in the bout, with Zayne looking for a measure of revenge against Austin after Austin turned his back on Zayne and attacked him, joining Bullet Club at the recent Best of the Super Juniors tournament in New Japan.

Zayne’s inclusion is somewhat of a shock, as he has only wrestled for IMPACT on three occasions in the past, with his last match occurring in October 2021. Primarily known for his work across NJPW and the independent scene, Zayne also wrestled for WWE 205 Live as Ari Sterling in 2021.
