Jack Perry Imminently Returning To AEW

AEW return for Jack Perry to occur ‘imminently’

Jack Perry’s run as the ‘Scapegoat’ could see him back in All Elite Wrestling ‘imminently’.

Perry has not been seen on AEW TV since dropping the FTW Title to HOOK on the All In pre-show in August 2023, with Perry subsequently indefinitely suspended by AEW for his part in a backstage scuffle with CM Punk.

For the beginning of 2024, Perry has been working for AEW partner New Japan Pro-Wrestling, feuding with Shota Umino and joining EVIL’s House of Torture. Umino defeated Perry at the recent NJPW Windy City Riot, and Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this was Perry’s last scheduled match for New Japan at this point in time, with his AEW return reportedly coming ‘imminently’.

Despite not being on AEW TV at all in 2023, Perry has been the centre of recent storylines in AEW, with the footage of Perry’s scuffle with Punk aired as part of the build towards FTR vs. The Young Bucks IV at AEW Dynasty on April 21. Whether Perry appears at Dynasty or not has not been disclosed by Meltzer.
